The High Sierra of Ecuador is a perfect destination for the practicing artist: sketch, paint, photograph, study language, or simply jot notes as you explore the multiple layers of diverse culture and beautiful scenery in the various communities. Ecuador is enriched by a diversity of peoples, plant life and cultural practices that continue today. We will see traditional lifestyles and dress of the indigenous Ecuadorean heritage; hear the Quichua language; watch the diversity of bird life, and experience the enormous transitions this country is undergoing.
